Post-production works are nearing completion for Veera Telangana directed and produced by R Narayanamurthy on the banner of Sneha Chitra Films, where the director himself playing the lead role. He had prepared a story based on the Telangana Armed Struggle that took place between 1944 and 51.
Speaking on the occasion, Narayanamurthy says, "My basic aim is to explain to the people about the Telangana armed struggle to the people of the state. We did not distort any of the historical truths in the subject. The farmers took part in the armed struggle and waged a war to get independence from bonded labour and many of them remained martyrs."
"I just can’t forget the cooperation extended by the people’s poets and lyricists in penning the lyrics for the flick. There is a very good response to the audio which was released recently. We will soon announce the release date." He added.
