Splice Hollywood Movie 2010 Splice Movie Review
The new science fiction thriller "Splice" arrives to theaters today, but movie goers are wondering how it stacks up with the rest of the box office competition. It's got a good cast including Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley, as well as Delphine Chaneac in the role of the mutated human creation. It's got an interesting story which delves into the topic of genetic experimentation, and according to several reviews it delivers for sci-fi horror fans! Ann Hornaday of Washington Post reviewed the film and calls it a "thoroughly repulsive science fiction-horror flick that slicks up the B-movie tawdriness with high-gloss production values and two otherwise classy stars." That beats out a host of summer films she's reviewed including "Prince of Persia" and "Iron Man 2" for one of the best grades she's given out. One of the legendary film critics of all time is Roger Ebert of Chicago Sun-Times. He's given the film one thumb up, which is pretty good considering how he's rated most recent films. He also gave "Get Him to the Greek" one thumb up, so that may be your other option. Ebert says the film which focuses on the genetic issues with its sci-fi plot is "well done, and intriguing."
