It is considered as one of the laughing mills of the Indian television series.Khichdi-the movie, it takes characters from the main series but the movie offers a new story to the audiences. The plot of the movie revolves around the central characters, Hansa and her brother Himanshu. This times, Himanshu gets a strange ambition of having a wonderful and memorable marriage. But to his utter disappointment, he does not have any girl to get married to.
So, first of all , he finds a girl and to everybody’s amazement, his neighbor falls for him. Her name is Parminder. Everything goes smooth and hunky dory till the time of the wedding. Suddenly everybody realises that their love story does not have anything memorable to offer to , and thus he might feel terrible when Himanshu realizes the reality.
