The Story : Prithvi movie story revolves around the District Commissioner, who wants to stop the corruption in belllary district and provide infrastructure to people. Puneet Rajkumar and Parvathi Menon are in lead roles.
The title of the movie Prithvi is the name of the hero. Prithvi means earth and it is a story of the land in Bellary.Although the movie Prithvi is a satire on current political system of Karnataka, it is purely a mass masala movie. And Milana combo Jacob Varghese, Puneet Rajkumar and Parvathi Menon have done another wonderful movie.Popular young actor, Prithviraj, will be doing a film with Viji Thampi, after the duo worked together on ‘Nammal Thammil’.
The film is called ‘Velu Thambi Dalava’. Produced by Rajaputra Ranjith, it is expected to start rolling soon. The remaining cast of the film hasn’t been decided upon yet.Meanwhile, ‘Nammal Thammil’ hadn’t been a hit, despite its delayed release. Hopefully ‘Velu Thambi Dalava’s fate at the box-office will be better.
Just when people thought that his tryst with a remade ride (Savaari) did not take him to his destiny, Jacob Varghese hit the bull’s eye as he got the call to direct Puneeth Rajkumar in Prithvi. In many ways, Prithvi is the happy reunion of some successful pairs. While Puneeth stars again with the Milana girl Parvathi, Jacob Varghese still persists with his favorite music director Manikant Kadri, who created magic in Savaari.
The film is being produced by Soorappa Babu and N. S. Rajakumar. Along with Puneeth and Parvathi, the film also stars Ramesh Bhat, Shrinivasa Murthy, Padmaja Rao, Avinash and company.Puneeeth might have missed out on playing Lagori with Yogaraj Bhat, but he has been jockeying his hopes on YB’s close friend Suri. Suri will be directing him in Jackie. Talks are also on to make Raam II with producer Aditya Babu, which will also be a remake like Raam.
