DID YOU KNOW? The Oomph gal of South Indian cinema, Namitha, makes her debut in Malayalam playing a bar dancer. Black Stallion has been released simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu, which is perhaps a rare thing for a Malayalam film.
STORYLINE: Black (Kalabhavan Mani) is a criminal-cop. He sees Laura (Namitha), a sexy bar dancer and her life is never the same again. She stabs him and flees to Kochi. There she meets a photographer, Ameer Usman (Bala) and romance is in the air.
REVIEW: Forget the story, you’re there to watch Namitha in action and there is enough to make you happy to spend 130 minutes in the theatre. Nice techniques as well. But things would have been even better with a more gripping script. But, do you care about such things in a Namitha film?
HIGHS: Hotter than a volcano, Namitha!
LOWS: A half-baked storyline
