Meghana stepped into Sandalwood with the kind of films that all aspiring actresses would dream about. Meghana's debut movie Venkata in Sankata has completed 50 days recently and is still running, reaching out for more milestones. Megahana was born and bought up in California, US, and migrated to Bangalore in the hope that the garden city would help her get established as an actress. She enrolled in the acting school 'Abhinaya Taranga', which helped start her acting career.
Ramesh Aravind gave her a big break through Venkata in Sankata and Meghana is all set to act in her next film. In the multi-starrer Venkata in Sankata, Meghana was one of the three heroines. But in her next film Shishira, Meghana is the lady lead which should provide her more screen space. Shishira will be directed by Manju Swaraj.
